By invitation of Masters Vernissage, Michelangelo Winklaar adds colour to the fashion exhibition in Hotel Okura Amsterdam.

With the Olympic Games 23 July 2021 on the agenda, Masters Vernissage organised a unique exhibition at the Okura hotel in Amsterdam.
As an ode to home-grown couture, 5 different Dutch designers (including Michelangelo Winklaar) create designs in the colours of the Olympic flag. The Okura hotel in Amsterdam is transformed into an exclusive, inspiring experience.
Where the latest developments in art, watches, jewellery, food, fashion, mobility, wellness, investments and design were presented. Winklaar added a red ensemble “from collection evolution inspired by Piet Mondrian”.
Characteristic for Winklaar's work are the feminine forms, texture and the use of craftsmanship and handicraft. craft and handicraft. Sustainability is also important to him, as he likes to use material that is considered residual material from the textile industry.
