Atelier M.W. Michelangelo Winklaar stands for fair trade and ethical working conditions. All garments are made entirely in the Netherlands. We carefully source our premium fabrics within Europe or develop them by hand inside our own studio in The Hague, collaborating exclusively with partners who respect their artisans.

Every made-to-measure piece is completely unique, tailored perfectly to your size and personal style. Our process is collaborative and highly personalized:

The Consultation: We discuss your vision, the occasion, silhouettes, and materials. Measurements are taken, and your fabric is chosen from our curated in-house selection of wool, silk, and linen, or sourced from top European suppliers.

The Toile Fitting: To ensure a flawless fit, a mock-up (toile) is crafted from basic fabric. This allows us to refine the pattern and design directly on your body before cutting the final luxury textile.

The Final Creation: Once the fitting is perfected, your unique garment is meticulously molded, draped, and completed by hand within a few weeks.
